Steps for accessing your new courses:
- Login to the eLearning portal to access the main Welcome page.
- On the main Welcome page, click on the My Courses link in the menu bar, then click on the Online Courses link to see the courses you have purchased. (Note that you may also click on the My Courses link in the upper right menu bar to see your course list.)
- Click on the course name you would like to access. This will open the course statistics and launch page.
- On the launch page, click on the link in the upper right, Start Course (tree menu), to launch the course window. Note: when returning to a previously launched course, this link will be Continue Course (tree menu).
End-user System Requirements
The operation of the online elearning requires the following minimum system requirements:
Computer system
- Operating System Win 95/98/NT4, Mac OS 9 and above
- Internet Explorer 5.0 (or higher); Netscape Navigator 4.7 and above
- Cookies, Java, and JavaScript enabled (must support Java version 1.02 and JavaScript 1.0)
- 133 MHz or higher processor
- 16MB RAM (32MB recommended)
- 800 x 600 resolution at 32-bit color depth
Internet connectivity
- Optimal performance is obtained when the Internet network connection speed is 256kbps or higher from the end-user’s computer to SPI’s course servers.
- The minimum connection speed required is 128kbps. Speeds lower than 128kbps will result in extended course download/run times and possible course timeouts or connection drops with the course server.
