The Solution Selling® Messenger™ Prototype Service is a one to three week engagement followed by a 30 day evaluation period.
Deliverable: The Customer will get the use of a fully functional Solution Selling® Messenger™ web site containing Customer specific as well as generic knowledge for between one and three customer solutions. The customer will be able to access this secure web site for 30 days after delivery through a single user id so that they can fully test the web site, enhance their knowledge base as much as they want, and create an unlimited number of Visual Value Maps™, Solution Selling® Job Aids, and Sales Conversation Playbooks™.
Delivery Model: This service will be supported remotely by SPI through web meetings and phone conversations with the customer team. The customer team will include the following:
- A project manager who is responsible for working with SPI to develop the structure of the prototype, manage the evaluation process, and insure that the knowledge input templates are completed by the team in a timely fashion
- A product management or marketing expert for each customer solution
Engagement Activities:
- The process starts with a 1 hour web meeting with the project manager to set objectives and expectations.
- That meeting is followed by a 1 hour web training session for the product marketing experts where they will be taught the underlying knowledge model of the web site and how to fill out Solution Selling Messenger Planning Forms.
- Following this web meeting the product marketing experts will complete the forms for each solution. This should take no more than 2 to 3 hours per solution. SPI will be available for phone questions and advice though out this process.
- Once the forms have been completed, SPI will create the prototype web site and load those forms into the knowledge base along with generic examples of insights and best practices so that the customer can evaluate all the functionality of Solution Selling Messenger.
- The prototype will then be delivered through a 1 hour web meeting where SPI will teach the entire the project team how to add additional knowledge and how to generate output.
- Throughout the 30 day evaluation period SPI will be available for questions and advice on entering knowledge, implementation strategies, and customer specific customization requirements.
