SPI-1 is a better way because it’s “one size fits one.” It’s not saying that everybody must do something the exact same way. We do have program-level kinds of learning, and that may be recommended. But ultimately, what the SPI platform can do is say, “Here’s what you need to do to be more effective,” and gives you the prescription on how to go about that.
The second advantage is that it’s the only thing available in today’s market that links specific competencies to the specific outcomes and the results that you’re after. It takes the guesswork out of what you need to do with your talent to get to the result that you want.
Last, but not least, it offers two big things that most people really want. They want their salespeople to become productive faster, and it allows for that to happen. And, it reduces the total cost of ownership.
